RECONCILIATION
STATEMENT from the bisexual and transgender communities We believe that racism and
the reconciliation processes are the business of every Australian, and
of every Australian community, including the bisexual and transgender communities.
We support the principles and sentiments expressed in the Black
White and Pink reconciliation statement.
We further believe that these
principles apply inclusively to the entire transgender, bisexual, gay,
lesbian and queer communities, and urge all people and organisations within
these communities to support fair dealing with indigenous people, redress
racism, engage in reconciliation processes, and oppose any attempt to deny
reconciliation.
